'Burning hatred' on an ordinary street in American suburbia
Daily Express
|September 13, 2025
LOOKING at the sprawling six-bedroom home where Tyler Robinson lived with his parents, it is hard to believe that evil could have darkened its door.
The quiet street is the sort of place where families gather on porches, kids ride their bikes and neighbours talk proudly of raising their children in the “right way” — God-fearing, tight-knit, safe. Yet behind the walls of this £480,000 house in Washington County, Utah, authorities say Robinson, 22, harboured a burning hatred that drove him to assassinate Charlie Kirk.
Neighbours are stunned by the allegations. They describe a Mormon family who never seemed anything other than wholesome, joining them for barbecues and carol singing.
Genius
Robinson’s mother Amber works as a helper for disabled people while his dad Matt is in construction.
