Fernandes blasts back at his critics

BRUNO MAKES HIS POINT

BRUNO FERNANDES has hit back at critics of his captaincy style, insisting he is the right man to lead Manchester United.

Fernandes will need to draw on all his leadership skills tonight in what is certain to be a hostile atmosphere here in Istanbul.

United Galatasaray themselves beat give best must to the possible chance of making the Champions League knockout stage, having already lost three of their four games in Group A. Fernandes has been under huge scrutiny since taking the armband from Harry Maguire, right, this season, with former United skippers Roy Keane and Gary Neville questioning his suitability.

But Fernandes said manager Erik ten Hag and his team-mates are happy with his leadership style.
