Brit in US for 30 years could be deported

A BRITISH woman who has lived legally in the US for more than three decades is facing deportation — after her husband helped to vote in Donald Trump.

Donna Hughes-Brown, 59, was detained by federal agents on July 29 at Chicago’s O’Hare international airport after a trip to Ireland.

After five days in detention, she was transferred to a facility in Campbell County, Kentucky, where she remains in custody.

Her husband James Brown is a military veteran who voted for Mr Trump last year but says he now “100%” regrets it.
