Ben 'gobsmacked' by brother pile-on

BEN CURRY has leapt to the defence of twin brother Tom against keyboard warriors blasting his British & Irish Lions selection ahead of Jac Morgan.

Lions head coach Andy Farrell justified the decision by saying flanker Tom will give the back row balance for today’s series opener against Australia in Brisbane.

But the decision sparked a fierce backlash online, with Morgan’s omission leaving the Lions without a single Welshman in their squad for a Test match for the first time since 1896.

Speaking in Washington, where he will face the USA tonight in England’s final match of their Americas tour, Ben said: “You’d think people would be Lions supporters, but it doesn’t seem so from looking at social media.
