Supersub Tolu completes stunning fightback for battling Wolves
Michael Kayode scores with a bullet header to put the Bees in front
WOLVES are going down. But they are going down with a fight.
Rob Edwards’ men battled back unexpectedly from two down to dent Brentford’s European hopes.
The visitors had trailed to goals from Michael Kayode and Igor Thiago.
But Adam Armstrong netted his first for the club and then sub Tolu Arokodare levelled up.
Brentford appeared to be taking the fight to stalling Aston Villa, Liverpool and Chelsea in their pursuit of European football with boss Keith Andrews continuing to impress.
Brentford are quite happy to continue with the underdog tag, and played a montage of various pundits writing them off following Thomas Frank's summer departure. But former Wolves and Republic of Ireland midfielder and ex-Sky Sports pundit Andrews has been proving people wrong.
