Anger Over Politicians Ignoring The Call Of Nature

CHRIS Packham spoke of his fury that the environment has not been a key issue in General Election manifestos.
The TV naturalist, 63, led a march of 60,000 nature lovers to the Houses of Parliament as part of a demonstration calling to "restore nature now".
He said he was "more than disappointed" that the environment has not featured heavily in party campaigns.
Mr Packham added: "I'm extremely angry about it. It should be the central part of all of the manifestos and it should be central to conversations that they're having about not just the next five years but our future.
"What we're looking at is classic short-sightedness and short-termism."
