407 drones and 44 missiles in night of Russian revenge

RUSSIA launched a massive ballistic missile and drone attack on Ukraine yesterday, with at least four people killed in the capital Kyiv.

It came after despot Vladimir Putin vowed to exact revenge for recent strikes on airfields in Russia.

The Kremlin targeted at least six regions with 407 drones and 44 missiles in one of its largest coordinated attacks since the war began three years ago, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

Multiple explosions were heard across Kyiv, where falling debris sparked fires across several districts as air defence systems attempted to intercept incoming targets, it was reported.
