New Alex contracts for homegrown duo

Combative midfielder Owen Lunt has signed a new one-year deal with an option for a further twelve months at Crewe

OWEN Lunt and Tom Booth have become the latest homegrown players to commit their immediate futures to Crewe Alexandra.

Lunt has signed a new one-year contract, with an option for a further 12 months.

The 20-year-old, who has been part of the club for more than a decade, finished last season strongly with four successive starts.

That took his total to 30 appearances for The Railwaymen, despite missing almost all of 2023/24 through injury.

Now the combative midfielder has been rewarded with fresh terms.
