Collection at Alex game for young players

A GROUP of local young footballers will be flying the flag for grassroots sport at Crewe Alexandra's home game against Bromley FC on Saturday (October 11).

The Coppenhall Football Club Under-11s, made up of both boys and girls, will be doing a bucket collection outside and inside the Mornflake Stadium on Gresty Road to raise vital funds for their team.

The children train and play at the Crewe Alexandra in the Community Centre in Shavington, where the money they raise directly supports their football journey.
