Children's home bids under consideration

CHESHIRE East is currently considering five applications to change the use of houses in Crewe into children's homes.

Four of the properties - two on Hope Street and two on Adelaide Street - will be operated by Homes for Support.

If planning permission is granted, all four of these houses will be occupied by one child and two live-in staff members.

A planning statement submitted by Broadgrove Planning and Development says: "The exterior of the building will remain.

"The interior will have minor changes, but only those necessary to facilitate the associated use."

This is the case for all four properties.
