RSPCA appeal after these cats abandoned in small carrier

RSPCA Coventry has issued a plea after three grown cats were abandoned.

The trio were found trapped in a small cat carrier.

The charity says the incident is just the latest in a worrying rise of abandonments.

They've urged anyone looking to relieve themselves of pets to do it in the right way.

“We're urging struggling pet owners to surrender their animal rather than abandon them,” a charity spokesman said.

“The RSPCA Coventry and District is seeing an increase in abandonments over the last few months. This is alongside animals being dumped with no regard for their welfare or while abusing the staff at the centre.”
