Podcasters honoured by university

TWO popular podcasters who have more than two million subscribers on YouTube and eight million TikTok followers have received honorary doctorates from Coventry University.

James Duncan and Fuhad Dawodu, creators of the ShxtsnGigs podcast, gained their Doctor of Arts degrees on July 21.

James and Fuhad are former students of Coventry University who met more than 15 years ago. Now best friends, their podcast is known for its viral “icks" and “Twitter Hall of Fame” segments. It is among the top five on Spotify in the UK.
