Kare gives scare to rival Hannah!

KARE Adenegan gave long-term rival Hannah Cockroft a pre-race fright - but fell short of overhauling her with another World Championship silver.
The Coventry wheelchair racer, 24, added a seventh global gong to her collection in the T34 100m in New Delhi.
Adenegan scooped silver behind Cockroft, now an 18-time world champion, in the 400m three days earlier and the result repeated itself over the shorter distance at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
Adenegan is a typically fast starter while Cockroft, a nine-time Paralympic champion, admits she has always struggled with that element of the race throughout her career. Cockroft said Adenegan’s sharp-looking race warm-up put her on edge and despite being unable to translate that to victory, the West Midlands star took pride in her performance after a quieter season.
