A COVENTRY dad has been jailed over a three-minute TikTok rant.

Shakeel Yunis wrote grovelling let-ters to Birmingham Crown Court in a failed bid to be spared a prison sentence.

But Judge Andrew Smith KC decided the Craven Street resident’s crime was too serious. The 44-year-old had admitted convey-ing a threat of serious harm.

The court heard the dad-of-one targeted a man he believed was a member of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and accused him of ‘genocide’ amid the ongoing Gaza conflict.

In the TikTok rant he said the individual, who was not identified, was not safe to walk the streets and warned he would be ‘dragged out of Nando’s’ in front of his family if anyone found him.
