The Minister for Agriculture, Marketing, Cooperation, Handlooms and Textiles, Tummala Nageswara Rao, on Saturday laid the foundation stone for CC road construction works in Wards 6 and 7 of Khammam city at an estimated cost of 1.50 crore.

The works are aimed at strengthening road connectivity and improving basic infrastructure in the rapidly expanding city.Addressing the gathering, the Minister said Khammam's population has crossed five lakh and is growing fast, necessitating planned development of roads, drinking water supply, drainage and other civic amenities.
