Minister inquires about details of flood damaged roads

State Roads, Buildings and Cinematography Minister Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy on Monday conducted a review on the progress of various works under the R&B sector.

The minister inquired about the details of the roads damaged due to the recent heavy rains. ENC Mohan Nayak explained that 1370 km of state roads were damaged in 1062 areas, 68 roads were eroded, and 38 were temporarily restored. Out of 520 places where there was overflow, 478 places have been reduced, while traffic was disrupted at 445 places, and 375 places have been restored. He said that about 306 crore CD works have been damaged.
