World Health Day 2025 theme "Healthy beginnings- Hopeful futures"Leading gynecologist Dr. Pasupuleti Vasumathi said that only if a mother is healthy, the family will be healthy. On Monday, Dr. P. Vasumathi inaugurated a rally and awareness conference organized on the occasion of World Health Day at Rich Nursing College, Chaitanyapuri under the joint auspices of Nehru Yuva Kendra Nellore and Community Paramedics and Primary Health Care Providers Welfare Association (PMP Association of India) at Rich Nursing College, Chaitanyapuri.

She said that the health of the mother should be given priority in a family, and only if the mother is healthy can the family be healthy. She said that the health of the mother and child is essential for building the future of the country and the survival of mankind. The theme of World Health Day 2025 is "Healthy Beginnings - Hopeful Future". This theme focuses on improving the health and survival of mothers and newborns. It aims to raise awareness about preventable maternal and infant mortality. She said that diseases are being spread due to changing lifestyles, drug use, work stress, and lack of sleep.
