BRS working president KT Rama Rao targeted the Congress government for abandoning its election manifesto and deceiving every section of society within two years of coming to power.

He said the Congress came to power by making atrocious promises only to sideline public welfare and governance
He was addressing the party leaders after BJP leader and former Chevella MPP Vijay Bhaskar Reddy joined the BRS along with his followers at Telangana Bhavan on Monday. Former Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy led the induction programme, with Rama Rao welcoming the new entrants by draping them with the party scarf.
