ICFAI signs MoU with BITS Pilani to foster collaboration in research, innovation

The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE), Hyderabad, and Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) here aims to foster collaboration in research, innovation, and skill development in the crucial domain of national security.

The MoU was signed by Prof. V Ramgopal Rao, Group Vice Chancellor of BITS Pilani and Prof. L S Ganesh, Vice Chancellor of IFHE here on Thursday.

Under the partnership, BITS Pilani will through the Centre for Research, Excellence in National Security (CRENS) while ICFAI will operate this collaboration through its IFHE Innovation & Entrepreneurship Council (IEC).

The collaboration is aimed at synergizing the strengths of both institutions to undertake joint research projects, consultancy assignments, skill development initiatives, startup co-incubation, and resource sharing, with a focus on cutting-edge technologies and challenges relevant to national security.
