Government Implementing various programs to empower women : Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy

State Roads, Buildings, and Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy stated that the state government is implementing various programs to empower women and help them rise through self-reliance.

He said that the government's goal is to transform one crore women into millionaires.
On Monday, at the Udayaditya Bhavan on the premises of the Nalgonda District Collector's office, he handed over checks for interest-free loans worth %11.38 crore to members of women's _ self-help groups in the Nalgonda Municipal Corporation area. He also distributed Indiramma sarees.
Speaking to the women on this occasion, the minister said that the state government introduced free bus travel for women immediately after coming to power, and so far, 265 crore people have traveled on free buses. He stated that the government is providing ration cards to all the poor in society, along with fine rice, and is also providing free electricity up to 200 units. He mentioned that a petrol pump has been set up at SLBC near Nalgonda on two acres of land at a cost of %5 crore under the auspices of women's self-help groups, and it will be completed in two months.
