First Instalment of Rythu Bharosa to be completed within nine days : CM Revanth Reddy

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy declared the government's resolve to credit ₹9,000 crore as the first instalment of Rythu Bharosa, farmers investment support scheme, within nine days.

The Chief Minister formally started crediting the amounts to farmers by the click of a button on Monday at the Rythu Nestam programme held at the Prof Jayashankar Telangana Agriculture University. The Chief Minister launched video conference facility in 1,034 Rythu Vedikas (farmers platforms) taking the total vedikas with video conference facility, to help farmers interact with officials and experts on crop related issues, to 1,600.

The government disbursed ₹2,349.83 crore on the first day under Rythu Bharosa scheme, covering 39.16 lakh acres benefiting 41.25 lakh farmers, who hold land extent up to 2 acres. Out of this 24,22,278 farmers held 13,54,387.27 acres (one acre) and 17,02,611 farmers held 25,62,002.04 acres (two acres).
