Under the leadership of Khammam District Congress Committee President Puvvala Durgaprasad, the 76th birth anniversary of former Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh, Late Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, was commemorated in a grand manner at the District Congress Office, Sanjeev Reddy Bhavan in Khammam.

On this occasion, District Congress President Sri Puvvala Durgaprasad, Mayor Punukollu Neeraja, and several other leaders paid floral tributes to the portrait of Dr. YSR. Speaking on the occasion, Sri Puvvala Durgaprasad said, "Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy was a legendary leader who permanently etched himself in the hearts of the people of united Andhra Pradesh. His governance was a perfect blend of welfare and development. His visionary welfare schemes uplifted the poor and underprivileged.
