Australian FM speaks with India, Pak counterparts; EAM stresses importance of zero tolerance against terrorism

Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong today spoke with her Indian and Pakistani counterparts to welcome the ceasefire and urge respect for its terms. EAM Jaishankar in his talk stressed “the importance of zero tolerance against terrorism”.

Wong said in a post on X that de-escalation between India and Pakistan and counter-terrorism efforts are critical to regional peace and security.
