Heartfelt tributes pour in for radio legend, Darren Scott

Tributes have been pouring in on social media following the death of South African veteran radio host, Darren Scott.

Scott had been diagnosed with stage 4 malignant melanoma.

The radio station he was working at, Hot 1027 FM, announced his death on social media, they wrote: “It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of a Hot 1027 radio legend. Earlier today Darren Scott lost his battle to cancer.”

Presley Chweneyagae dies at 40

Renowned actor Presley Chweneyagae died on Tuesday.

His death was confirmed by Nina Morris Lee, the CEO of talent company Moonyeenn Lee & Associates.

“It is with profound sadness that we confirm the untimely passing of one of South Africa’s most gifted and beloved actors, Presley Chweneyagae,” the statement read.

Miss World 2025 Zoalize Jansen van Rensburg shines on a global stage
