Top 8 spot on the line as Arrows and Stellies clash
Cape Argus
|March 18, 2026
A TOP 8 finish remains within reach for Golden Arrows and Stellenbosch FC, though the journey has been far from smooth, marked by twists and turns and now, the next step could prove decisive in defining their season.
As the two sides prepare to meet once more, their showdown at the King Zwelithini Stadium today (7.30pm kickoff) could play a key role in determining which team climbs higher in the standings.
Just one point separates both clubs from TS Galaxy, who currently occupy the final Top 8 spot, though they have played a game more than their chasing rivals.
With the season approaching its end, both Arrows and the Maroons will be keen to seize the opportunity and break into the top half.
