Why? Political heavyweights such as Helen Zille, Herman Mashaba (he had not declared his candidacy but seriously considering running for Joburg mayor) and Kenny Kunene will be contesting for the mayoral chain.Mashaba has been a mayor of Joburg before, though not for a full term. He led the City of Johannesburg under the DA banner.
