CAMBRIDGE United boss Neil Harris has described this evening's Carabao Cup tie at Fulham as a "brilliant occasion for the club".
The U's take on Premier League opposition at Craven Cottage in the third round of the competition tonight, in a 7.45pm kickoff.
This evening's hosts sit eighth in the top flight after five games, while United are ninth in League Two after nine matches following Saturday's 2-1 win over Fleetwood Town.
The U's are set to be backed by more than 5,000 fans in West London, and Harris said: "It'll be very nice won't it for the football club, it'll be a nice evening for the fanbase.
"It’s great for the players to have that level of support, and it'll give everybody that little bit of excitement before the game when the players are warming up.
"I hope we can do ourselves justice, and stick to the game plan, and be as competitive as possible during the game, but ultimately the result will be the result at the end of the day.
