I TOLD LAMPS NOT TO TAKE JOB AT CHELSEA

JODY MORRIS has revealed that he told Frank Lampard NOT to take the Chelsea job in 2019.

Morris spent seven years as a player at Stamford Bridge and also worked in the club's academy before becoming Frank Lampard's assistant at Derby County in 2018.

A year later, following a playoff final appearance with the Rams, the pair returned to west London to take the reins at Stamford Bridge.

Thomas Tuchel took over at Chelsea in 2021 when Morris (inset) and boss Lampard were dismissed. Now Morris claims he advised his pal not to take the position.
