Raw sugar rebounds while arabica coffee also rises

Raw sugar futures rose on Tuesday, rebounding from a 1-1/2-week low, as investors await the crop in top producer Brazil. Coffee prices also ended higher.

Sugar: Raw sugar settled up 0.25 cent, or 1.3%, at 19.51 cents per lb, having earlier hit 19.20 cents for its lowest in a week and a half.
Concerns are easing over a delayed start to the 2025/26 (April to May) crop in Brazil and weather forecasts point to some rain in the next week or two, which could be beneficial to the crop.
The market has derived support, however, from lingering fears that no. 2 producer India will restrict sugar exports amid signs the current crop will disappoint.
