Coal India output rose 4.6% in Dec

Coal India on Thursday reported a 4.6 per cent year-on-year (Y-0-Y) growth in production and a 5.2 per cent fall in offtake in December.
The miner, along with its eight subsidiaries, produced 75.7 million tonnes (mt) of coal in December 2025, higher than 72.4 mt in the same month in 2024.
