The 2026 SEC's Rules of Procedure updates the SEC's rules and supersede the 2016 edition.

It simplifies adjudicative and administrative procedures, reduce case-aging and institutionalize reforms that promote faster and more consistent case disposition.

"The 2026 SEC Rules of Procedure of the SEC reflect the commission's continuing efforts to strengthen its adjudicative and administrative systems," SEC Chairman Francis E.Lim said.
