Aboitiz sale to Blackrock unit gets regulator's nod

ABOITIZ Equity Venture Inc. announced last Thursday of having secured clearance from the Philippine Competition Commission for the sale of its 40 percent stake in Aboitiz InfraCapital Inc. to Global Infrastructure Partners LLC (GIP).
GIP is a part of BlackRock and the deal was made through GIP EM Onyx Pte. Ltd.
‐The PCC’s clearance is one of the closing conditions for the transaction. The parties are in the process of completing the other closing conditions for the transaction,‐ AEV said.
