BETTY, 11, AMONG WINNERS OF MENTAL HEALTH T-SHIRT COMPETITION
A BURTON youngster has been named as a winner of the Marks & Spencer Young Designer competition.
Eleven-year-old Betty's limited-edition 'Hey you, you're amazing' t-shirt design is now available to buy online via the M&S website.
Her entry was one of more than 8,000 received by the retailer, which launched the competition with charity partner YoungMinds back in February.
The aim was to find winning designs for its M&S and YoungMinds Hello Yellow Kidswear collection - with all profits going to the charity.
Betty said: “I love being creative and I thought the competition would be a really fun thing to get involved with, especially as the charity helps young people.
“I wanted my design to be a mix of all different things to stand out and show that no matter what, you're amazing.
