Street shut as emergency after residents 'smell gas'

DRIVERS WARNED TO AVOID AREA FOR 7 WEEKS
THE high street in Repton has been closed since Monday as engineers carry out an emergency repair to an underground gas pipeline.
A crew from Cadent, which manages the local gas network for the area, responded to a report of a smell of gas and implemented the one-way closure.
