Author and illustrator Adam Stower shares his love of scary stories and ghostly goings on ahead of Halloween

- DAISY FOX

AUTHOR and illustrator Adam Stower's new book, Murray the Ghost-hunter starring characters Murray and Bun, is perfect for young readers this Halloween. Here, Adam - who also illustrated Little Monsters Rule! by David Walliams - tells us all about his love for spooky stories.

Are spooky stories your favourite ones to write?

I have great fun writing all sorts of stories. When I was little I always loved spooky stories. I liked feeling a bit scared to turn the page but not being able to resist doing so to find out what happened next.

I hope Murray the Ghosthunter will give readers that same exciting mix of scares and giggles.

Do you believe in ghosts?
