'It's great to recognise people who've gone the extra mile'

RESIDENTS in East Staffordshire are being invited to vote for the new Staffordshire Ambassador of the Year.

Four people have been shortlisted for their work to help to raise Staffordshire's profile and put the county on the map, changing perceptions nationally and internationally.

The award recognises those who have gone above and beyond to tell the Staffordshire story.

This year's shortlisted ambassadors are:

■Tilley Bancroft, Making Trails.

Joanne Conroy-Wilson, Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group.

■Wayne Dutton, South Staffordshire Council.

■Mike Astbury, Mondrem Group.
