HOCKEY: Barton Men's firsts claimed a 3-3 draw on their visit to Loughborough University.

Barton sat in shape for the first part of the game and soaked up early pressure from the students.

Using the quick pace on the forward line Barton managed to win a short corner 10 minutes in through Owen Harrison but the post kept Jake Foster's flick out.

Loughborough's pressure eventually paid off for them after an initial corner save from an alert Martin Jarvis, the rebound fell to the student forward who volleyed in. This was the only time Jarvis was beaten in the first half though after a string of great diving saves.
