SCHEME HAS ATTRACTED 85 OBJECTION LETTERS AND A 1,086-NAME PETITION
CONTROVERSIAL plans to build more than 200 homes in Fradley are expected to get the green light.
Planning officers at Lichfield District Council recommended councillors grant permission, despite a petition signed by more than 1,000 residents and 'significant objections' from Fradley Parish Council.
The proposed development for land east of Fradley Lane would see 230 new homes and a community centre built. The outline application, which is set to be decided on next week, is only set to rule on the principle of development and access.
Entrance to the site is set to be created from a new roundabout on Fradley Lane, and a speed reduction would be introduced around the development
