Young ride the buses for free this summer

REGULAR readers will know how excited I am about this and, since it's starting on Saturday for the very first time, I hope they will forgive me for writing about it again...

From tomorrow, kids go free on buses across the West throughout the school summer holidays thanks to investment by the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority.
Around 150,000 kids in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Bath and North East Somerset, and North Somerset aged from 5-15 years old will benefit from free bus travel this summer - just by hopping on board, with no bus pass or registration required.
Children under five years old already go free, while our usual £1 child tickets are already some of the cheapest fares in the country.
