Welsh city tops list of ‘affordable hotspots’ for Bristol commuters

THE cheapest towns within easy commuting distance of Bristol have been revealed by Zoopla, as buyers are priced out of the city.

Five locations have been listed on its guide to “affordable commuter hotspots; where average property prices are up to £165,000 cheaper.
According to the property site, people working in Bristol can achieve a 43 per cent saving by moving to Newport in Wales, where the average home value is £214,700 compared to Bristol’s £379,800.
