Tesco Express store set to close before year's end

A TESCO Express branch in Bristol is set to close later this year.

The supermarket has confirmed that the Bishopston Tesco Express store on Gloucester Road will close its doors, though no specific date has yet been given for when the shop's last day of trading will be.

A Tesco spokesperson told the Post: “We have taken the difficult decision to close our Bishopston Express later this year. The store will be open as normal until then, and we will continue to serve the local area through a number of other nearby stores. We intend to redeploy all colleagues to other local stores.”
