Suburban Super Warmley Redbridge shock Stoke Gifford in Amateur Cup

Luckily, most of the GFA Cup games were also played.

The result of the day was at Stoke Gifford where promotion-chasing Warmley Redbridge changed the venue because their pitch was unfit and beat Gloucestershire County League side Stoke Gifford United 3-0 in the GFA Senior Amateur Cup.

Seventeen-year-old Ben Mackreth gave them the lead by converting a one v one chance, then a 25-yard free-kick from Jacob Watson made it 2-0. An own goal, following a low cross from Ed Searle, made it 3-0. In the fourth round, Warmley Redbridge have drawn another Gloucestershire County League side in Bromley Heath United, who were 3-0 winners against Premier Division leaders Almondsbury Reserves at The Field.
