'So excited' M&S reveals opening date for new store

MARKS and Spencer has confirmed the much-anticipated opening date of its huge new Cabot Circus store - along with details of what shoppers can expect.

The flagship branch will take the place of the former House of Fraser, which has been empty since its closure in August 2024.

For months, hoardings advertising the arrival of Marks and Spencer have promised an “autumn 2025” opening - and now, the chain has finally released an exact date.

The new store will officially open on Thursday, November 13 less than five weeks away.

A spokesperson told the Post: “The 80,000 sq ft full-line store will offer the very best of M&S food, fashion, home and beauty across three floors.

“Customers can look forward to a 17,000 sq ft fresh market-style food-hall, with in-store bakery, fresh market specials from M&S Select Farms - over 1,200 are based in the South West - and a wide range of M&S sandwiches, salads and wraps - perfect for the lunchtime rush.
