KEYNSHAM kept their hopes alive of avoiding relegation from WEPL Premier Two Bristol/Somerset with a battling 19-run home victory against fellow strugglers OB Westbury.

- Steve HILL

Three sides, instead of the customary two, will drop down from this division because of events one level above in Premier One.

Keynsham, who remain eighth on 180 points, must now win their final outing, away to Weston-super-Mare, and hope to overhaul OB Westbury (190) who wrap up their campaign at home to bottom side Taunton (165).

Bishopston, ninth on 174, also have a slim mathematical chance of staying up after thumping local rivals Golden Hill, though their last match of a difficult campaign will be home to champions Midsomer Norton.

Dan Kenyon captured 5-42 as Keynsham struggled to reach 202, but it proved enough as Dilshan Wijayakumar and Sam Wheeler pocketed three wickets apiece.
