ANOTHER bank holiday weekend is drawing near and there are plenty of events taking place across the city.

We've taken a look at what's on, so you can make plans and try to see and do as much as you can next weekend from Friday until Sunday (August 22 to 24). Here's a guide to four of the biggest events taking place in Bristol, and how you can get involved:

Forwards

Forwards Festival 2025 is happening at The Downs next Saturday and Sunday (August 23 and 24), with a lineup that features the likes of The Last Dinner Party, Doechii, Barry Can't Swim, Ezra Collective and Jorja Smith, and more. Now in its fourth year, fans have been excited about the Forwards lineup since billboards popped up across the city back in March.
