Cornick was not included in the Robins’ matchday squad - for the first time in the Championship this season - at Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon. In his absence, Ephraim Yeboah took a place on the substitutes’ bench as City ran out 1-0 winners courtesy of Mark Sykes’ first goal of the season.

Despite coming close to an opener in the first half, particularly when Neto Borges struck the post, Struber’s side were made to wait until the 73rd minute to take the lead. Moments after he was introduced from the bench, Sykes found himself in plenty of space at the back post and calmly tucked a deflected Anis Mehmeti cross home to secure the Robins’ first win in five games.
