THE prize of a chance to play at the Seat Unique Stadium will be at stake on Sunday when the semifinals of the First Class Comms Gloucestershire Cup take place.
Downend host Hatherley & Reddings and Chipping Sodbury prepare to welcome Dumbleton as the competition reaches its exciting conclusion.
The final is due to take place on Saturday September 6.
The First Class Comms Gloucestershire Trophy final, meanwhile, will be between holders Gloucester AIW and Cirencester at Poulton on Sunday August 10.
>> Dumbleton’s bid to reach a second successive Lord’s final is over after a low scoring four wicket defeat away to Stayley, of Cheshire, in the Voneus Village Cup.
