Court Rapist who left victim feeling suicidal is jailed

A RAPIST who attacked a woman in a house in Clevedon left her with 'nightmares, flashbacks and fear.

'Dangerous sexual predator' Sean Reuben has been jailed for 10 years.

The victim of his attack, who was aged in her 20s at the time of the incident in 2021, wrote a powerful statement about her life since the assault.

She said that the assault had affected her "physically and mentally", and that she has had "suicidal thoughts".

Reuben, pictured inset, denied the offence, but a jury unanimously found the 49-year-old, of Lawrence Weston, guilty of rape in May.

He was sentenced at Bristol Crown Court on Wednesday.

Police were called immediately after Reuben raped the victim in November 2021 and officers arrested him the same night. Reuben was later charged.
