'Affordable' homes as new deal struck

DEVELOPERS planning to build 68 new homes on the banks of the River Avon in East Bristol have announced they will all now be classed as ‘affordable; after the firm struck a deal with a housing association.

The ground works behind the house in Redland
Council planners gave permission earlier this year to allow the demolition of a concrete factory, even though at the time, the developers said it wasn’t viable for them to include any affordable housing at all.
