Necklace robbery jailed after crimes against elderly women

A MAN was sentenced to three years and eight months in prison at Lincoln Crown Court on Thursday, October 23, after being convicted of two counts of robbery.

Rumen Pashev, 28, of West Street, Boston pleaded guilty at a hearing on October 17 after he snatched jewellery from two elderly victims in the street.
The two incidents took place within days of each other in Boston. On Monday, September 1, an 82-year-old woman was making her way home from town on Linden Way, when she felt her necklace being pulled off her neck.
